Sylvester man in serious traffic accident

The man's motorcycle rammed a pickup truck

ALBANY, GA. -- A Sylvester man remains in the hospital after a violent traffic accident early Friday morning.

62-year-old James Slappey was driving his motorcycle on Highway 82 when a pickup truck pulled onto the Highway from County Line Road.

Slappey rammed the truck and was seriously injured.

The driver of that truck was not hurt.

Slappey underwent surgery at Phoebe Putney and is listed in fair condition.
