The woman accused of hitting a disabled woman with her 2001 black Kia Sophia and then leaving the scene has been cited by the Albany Police Department's traffic unit.

25-year-old, Alisa Danielle Perry has been issued several citations including no insurance, suspended registration, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to yield entering the roadway and failure to yield to a pedestrian in the roadway. August 5th, around 5:00 p.m., 40-year-old Heather Fulton was struck by Perry's car and was knocked out of her wheelchair at the intersection of Magnolia Street and Broad Avenue. Fulton was treated for minor injuries.

Perry turned herself in to police Monday morning.
