Walter Phelps died on Saturday
ALBANY, GA. -- One of the men arrested for the shooting and robbery of Former Lee County Commissioner Walter Phelps will be facing a murder charge.
Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards says he will file a murder charge against suspected gunman, 20-year-old Jordan Harris.
Phelps was shot in the shoulder as he opened the P and P Garden and Hardware on July 3rd.
Phelps was taken to the emergency room of Phoebe Putney Memorial on Saturday where he later died.
