He collapsed inside Waffle House

ALBANY, GA. -- Tifton police are investigating the shooting death of a man near the Ramada Inn and the Waffle House on US Highway 82.

Around 2:00pm on Thursday, a black man collapsed inside Waffle House after being shot by an unknown assailant. 

He was transported to Tift Regional Medical Center but later died.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
