ALBANY, GA. -- A special health fair for families came to Albany Saturday.

The Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia hosted the event at Albany State University.

Several other organizations came to provide information and give free health checks.

“We have Open Arms, the Liberty House and Peach State. Albany State University has been kind enough to partner with us and their school infirmary is here and they are doing blood pressure checks as well as BMI testing,” said Tonya Greene of the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition.

They also had games and handed free back to school supplies for the kids.
