Three in custody for shooting/robbery
ALBANY, GA. -- Albany police have made three arrests in the July 3rd shooting and robbery of Walter Phelps, the owner of P and P Garden and Hardware.
19-year-old Ezekiel James and 20-year-old Jamon Carter are charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and theft by receiving stolen property.
Carter’s mother, 40-year-old Gloria Carter Davis, is charged with tampering with evidence.
The arrests were made thanks to tips to Crimestoppers.
Police are looking for more suspects.
