More is known about the suspects in the armed robbery/hostage situation that happened Monday

One suspect is in custody facing multiple criminal charges, and charges are pending for the second suspect who is still in the hospital

ALBANY, GA. -- Albany police release the names of two suspects in Monday’s armed robbery of the Family Dollar store on West Gordon Avenue.

20-year-old Randell Harris is charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. 20-year-old Christopher Raines is the suspect who was shot in the abdomen by a police officer - charges are pending when he gets out of the hospital. The officers who responded to the robbery were trainee Christopher Hutcherson and his training officer, McKinley Windom – Hutcherson is the one who shot Harris.

25-year-old Jamaica Jones, a Family Dollar employee, was taken hostage during the robbery.
