APD needs help finding a man who escaped from an officer

ALBANY, GA. -- 32-year-old Robert Henderson Jr. was handcuffed and placed in the back of a police vehicle at 1001 North Slappey Boulevard in reference to a domestic dispute.

When Officer Samantha Jordan was about to take him to jail, she noticed him getting into the front seat.

The officer struggles with him inside and outside of the car, however Henderson was able to slip out of his shirt and run away.

He’s wanted for obstruction of an officer, escape, theft by taking, and simple battery.
