Dozens of Southwest Georgia singers audition to become Albany’s Star
ALBANY, GA. -- The Southwest Georgia version of the popular American Idol show held its second audition today.
Fans got the chance to hear singers with all different levels of skill and octave ranges compete for a chance to move on to the finals. Alex Milledge will compete in the finals and says he’s grateful for the local competition. “It feels great and I’m actually about to start recording my first cd so I’m glad to have this kind of exposure” says Milledge.
The third and final Albany Star qualifying competition for finals will be on August 21, 2010.
