The Department of Community and Economic Development and NID Housing Counseling joined forces Tuesday to host a Foreclosure avoidance workshop

ALBANY, GA --
The Department of Community and Economic Development and NID Housing Counseling joined forces Tuesday to host a Foreclosure avoidance workshop. Residents came out to learn about loan modifications, refinancing for underwater mortgages, and foreclosure prevention tools.

NID counselor Patricia Fletcher-Edwards says the community know they're available is the most important thing. “We are here. We're set in place to be of assistance to the community and so we work hard to try to have these workshops so that we make it available to the community” says Fletcher-Edwards.

If you want to attend a meeting, they are held the last Tuesday of each month at the Microbusiness Enterprise center.
