Leonard Pope has fun with kids while warning them about the dangers of childhood obesity
ALBANY, GA. -- Americus native Leonard Pope who now plays professional football for the Kansas City Chiefs was in town this weekend to host a kids day to create awareness about the dangers of childhood obesity.
The event kicked off with a fitness walk, and moved on to other forms of exercise, football drills, and information about staying active and healthy.
Phoebe Sumter was on hand to give out information and conduct health screenings for all participants at the Kid’s Day Event.
