The Marine Corps Logistics Base held a yard sale today to raise money for military connected families.
The Marine Corps Logistics Base held a yard sale Saturday to raise money for military connected families. Members of the community came out to offer their support to the base and do some shopping.
Facility Readiness Officer Richard Walker says the sale does more than just raise money for the families. "It gives us an opportunity for people to come out and meet others and see who else works on base" says Walker.
Walker says 47 tables were rented and about 200 people attended the sale.
