Young kids came out with their families today to have fun with arts and crafts at The Flint Riverquarium. The kids had the opportunity to make tumble bugs, cat puppets, and paint flower pots.

Although the event is hosted by the riverquarium the kids are assisted by a host of high school and college volunteers.

"I feel like I'm making a difference because kids are like depending on us. Every Sunday were helping them have fun so they won't be out in the streets," said Quiateesha Jones, a volunteer from Albany High School.
