Traffic update for Memorial Day weekend

The Georgia State Patrol has an update on the number of Memorial Day weekend traffic incidents.

Less traffic deaths than predicted

State Patrol predicted 1,972 crashes, 696 injuries and 15 deaths. As of Monday Georgia has seen 2,025 crashes, 541 injuries and three deaths. Police are asking anyone getting on the road to wear their seat belts and not to drink and drive.
