Over 28,000 people have pledged to quit the largest social networking site on www.quitfacebookday.com

Protesting against Facebook’s recent privacy changes, one group has also deemed this Memorial Day as “Quit Facebook Day.”

Over 28,000 people have pledged to quit the largest social networking site on www.quitfacebookday.com. Facebook recently changed its privacy settings so that other sites could access your information. In response to the negative feedback, Facebook did go back to older privacy settings, but our own web experts say nothing on the web is truly private.

“If you’re wanting to post something on Facebook, you should probably think about, would you want someone to see this like a potential employer or your parents? “If you don’t want them to see it, you probably just shouldn’t post it,” said Donnie La Curan, FOX 31’s Interactive Managing Editor.
