April Weekley was arrested today and faces theft charges

A former employee with the Lee County Utilities Authority is arrested on theft charges.

April Weekley was arrested today following an investigation by the GBI. Agents tell Fox 31 News Weekley is charged with theft by taking for stealing over $1200 in funds for personal use. Weekley was taken to the Lee County Jail.

No other arrests are expected at this time.
