Musical centers on the adventures of Huck Finn

Get ready to roll down the mighty Mississippi with Huck Finn!

Theatre Albany presents ‘Big River’, a Huckleberry Finn musical to close out its 77th season. The show was written by William Hauptman and music and lyrics are by Roger Miller who also wrote the song "King of The Road". The story follows Huck Finn as he tries to help his friend Jim, a slave, escape to freedom at the mouth of the Ohio River. 2010 also marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Mark Twain.

‘Big River’ runs from May 21st to June 5th at Theatre Albany, located at 514 Pine Avenue.
