Dougherty County Police found marijuana on 26-year-old Frederick Davis and 29-year-old Henry Wright when they pulled over Davis in the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway

A traffic stop leads to drug charges for two men Saturday.

Dougherty County Police found marijuana on 26-year-old Frederick Davis and 29-year-old Henry Wright when they pulled over Davis in the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway. Officers stopped the car for a tinted window violation, but smelled marijuana and searched the car. Police found a one pound bag of marijuana in the engine compartment and 11 small bags of marijuana in Wright’s shoe.

The Albany-Dougherty drug unit is now handling the investigation.
