The animal shelter is nearing capacity for animals and needs help in caring for the animals

The Albany Humane Society is nearing their maximum capacity and needs donations to help care for the dogs and cats.

Humane Society officials say there are multiple ways you can help including donating money, volunteering your time, or donating dog or cat food.

The Humane Society will host their 10th annual “Howl at the Moon” fundraiser this Friday at Chehaw.
