A man is in jail tonight after trying to rob a local business.

45-year-old Kenny Guest was arrested around 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Albany Police were patrolling the 1600 block of Gillionville Road when they heard glass breaking. They saw a broken window at Nancy’s Cleaners at 400 North Magnolia Street and saw a suspect carrying off a cash register.

Guest was arrested soon after and has been charged with burglary and possession of tools for commission of a crime.
