The Albany Panthers got a one-day alcohol license to sell beer at Sunday's game. Without a license, it's illegal to sell alcohol on Sundays in Georgia

Albany arena football hosts its first-ever Sunday game this weekend.

Albany Panthers General Manager Will Carter says the set up for Sunday’s Albany Panthers game against the Greenville Force out of South Carolina is exactly the same as every other game. However, Carter did have to get a special one-day alcohol license to sell beer at the game. It’s otherwise illegal to sell alcohol on Sundays in Georgia.

This is the only Sunday game scheduled this season, but once the numbers are crunched, it could happen again.
