Victim’s Rights Week kicked off in Albany today following the signing of a special proclamation by Mayor Willie Adams.

A week is designated every year to recognize and honor those who have fallen victim to a crime. Law enforcement agencies and victim’s rights advocates throughout Dougherty County joined Mayor Adams to celebrate. This year’s theme is focused on treating victims with fairness, dignity, and respect.
