Dougherty County investigators have arrested four people for allegedly stealing metal and copper from the old Viking Distillery on East Broad Avenue.

Authorities have charged 38-year-old Edward Jenkins, 26-year-old Donniell Mills, 22-year-old Corey Rutland, and 18-year-old Keith Shealy with criminal damage to property and a felony count of criminal attempt to commit theft by taking.  Investigators say the charges stem from extensive damage done to the distillery in which copper and stainless steel mechanisms were stolen. Authorities say the thieves were using pulley systems to move large items from the top floors.
