The Albany public works department says parts of Whispering Pines will be closed Wednesday for repairs.

The department of public works for the city of Albany has closed the west bound lane of Whispering Pines Road for repairs. The closure is estimated to last 2 to 3 days. Traffic will be detoured north onto Hilltop Drive then west on Gary Avenue. The east bound lane will remain open to through traffic.
