Nearly 30 grits dishes judged

Warwick, Georgia hosted its 13th annual National Grits Festival today.

Around 2,000 people turned out for the festival.  Five judges tasted nearly 30 different kinds of grits dishes.  Residents say Warwick is a town of a little over 500 people, but this particular weekend, its population skyrockets.

Miss Grits 2010, Brittany Greer says the festival has improved.

“In ‘06 when I won teen, it was not this big, and it’s just a lot more people and I think it means a lot, it brings a lot of money to their community,” said Greer.
