Five face felony drug charges

The Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit has arrested five people in connection with a search warrant executed Thursday by Albany police.

Agents charged 37-year-old Carlets Washington, 19-year-old Anthony Hawkins, 19-year-old Bobby Davis, 17-year-old Christopher Davis, and one juvenile with four felony drug violations. The charges include possession of drugs with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a park. Drug agents say they recovered over $600 worth of Cocaine and $850 worth of marijuana. Authorities say charges were filed after Albany police searched an apartment in the 1300 block of East Society.
