Key decisions are made on a variety of items at the ADICA meeting

The Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority met Wednesday evening and voted on a number of items including utilizing online banking to make transparency and accountability easier.

When it comes to façade grants ADICA officials say ex-member LaJuana Woods is up to date on her grant repayment, however Tim Washington is delinquent.  The board approved two new reimbursable façade grants for DJ’s Barber and Salon and Elements Coffee.

Interim ADICA CEO James Taylor informed the board that the Hilton Garden Inn will begin repaying their $500,000 grant and in case they can’t make the payments the amount will default to ADICA.

In other news ADICA accepted a proposal from Lane Rosen to run the skate park downtown.
