Lee County traffic accident kills Americus man

State troopers say 21-year-old Marcus Bateman was killed in a car wreck on Grey Moss Road Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say Bateman lost control of his car while driving north and was ejected. Bateman wasn’t wearing his seat belt. Authorities say the car hit a tree and came to rest on top of Bateman.
