How to stay healthy and get in shape this spring

Spring time is here, and that means many people are thinking about getting fit for the summer.

Yvette Ponder advises marines and civilians at the MCLB on how to live healthy lifestyles.  She says eating fresh, organic foods is a great way to start.  Ponder adds exercise, getting enough rest and drinking eight glasses of water a day will work wonders for your health and the way your body feels.   Following these basic guidelines could help prevent serious illness like diabetes or cancer.

It could also help the local economy when you buy fresh produce from local farmers.
