Dougherty County police officers partnered with Worth County deputies to arrest a man who they say took advantage of an elderly woman.

Investigators say 47-year-old Jamie Odom was arrested after stealing a car that belongs to 68-year-old Barbara Cox.

Police say Odom was repairing a TV at Cox’s home on Cordele Road when he took Cox’s car keys. Police contacted Worth County authorities to help with the investigation. Worth County deputies arrested Odom when they reportedly spotted him driving Cox’s 1993 Pontiac Grand Am.
