Deserving students from Turner and Jackson Heights Elementary Schools received a new pair of Nike shoes

H.E.A.R.T., Hands Extended Arms Reaching Together, donated a total of 200 pairs of Nike shoes to deserving students at Dougherty County elementary schools.

Anne Johnson Milledge, CEO of HEART says one pair of shoes can enhance a child’s learning experience.  “Once you start meeting the needs of a child you can get the attention of a child.  If you get their attention they will learn more” says Milledge.

The nonprofit organization plans to donate shoes in all Dougherty County schools in the future.
