A fire broke out at 823 Mercer Avenue around 10:30 a.m.

Albany firefighters put out flames at a vacant home Monday morning.

A fire broke out at 823 Mercer Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Firefighters say the house is vacant, and no power was connected to the home. The flames were confined to one room in the house.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
