Tim Washington and Nicole Brown were both sentenced Monday.

Dollar Store owner Tim Washington was accused of hiding his $1 a month lease agreement with former Downtown Manager Don Buie from the public. Washington was sentenced to ten years probation and $46,000 in restitution. If he doesn't pay it back then a probation warrant will be taken for his arrest and he will have to go before a judge and provide an explanation. Buie's ex-girlfriend, Nicole Brown pleaded guilty to theft by taking. In order to protect Buie, Brown recanted a signed affidavit that said Buie had received kickbacks from her.

Brown was sentenced to pre-trial intervention and paid $1,000 restitution.
