24-year-old Lashamma Lawson was arrested on her way into the Dougherty County jail Monday morning.
Authorities say Lawson was on her way to get a background check when a security guard ran her through the metal detector. The guard checked Lawson’s purse as a precaution and found 10 individual bags of marijuana. Lawson is charged with possession with the intent to distribute and possession within guard line of the jail.
