Albany police found 50-year-old Vincent Grant’s body at 527 Cotton Avenue Sunday morning

A preliminary autopsy on a body found outside a vacant south Albany home has revealed no definitive cause of death.

Police found 50-year-old Vincent Grant’s body at 527 Cotton Avenue Sunday morning. Police say they are treating the case as a suspicious death. Police say Grant had a laceration on his head, but no blood was on the scene.

Police are now waiting on a toxicology report for further information.
