Census forms should be coming in the mail any day now

Lee County is wanting everyone to be counted in this year's census.

Students from Lee County High School and ROTC and other volunteers were out posting signs all over Lee County and Leesburg Saturday. Lee County commissioner Rick Muggridge wants everyone to return their forms so they're sure to get funding for certain things the city and county need--like more roads.

“One of our biggest needs, financially is for roads, our county has grown so much in the last 30 years that our infrastructure needs some help,” said Muggridge Saturday.

Folks should be getting forms in the mail any day now.

If you don't return it right away, census workers could be paying you a visit.
