Marine Corps Police officers keep their shooting skills sharp
The Marine Corps Police Department at MCLB Albany spent some time at the shooting range this week.
Police officers stationed at MCLB Albany keep their eye on the target and their skills sharp. Officers are practicing a practical weapons course where they shoot from different positions and use barricades. Part of the course includes firing a Benelli shotgun five times in a row. Time at the firing range ensures familiarity and confidence for officers using their weapons.
This type of training not only helps to protect the base, but marines and their families.
