Palmyra is reducing the cost of mammograms and prostate exams during the month of February

Palmyra Medical Center is hosting a sweetheart deal for mammogram and prostate screenings during the month of February.

Digital mammograms cost $50 and PSA screenings cost $30 payable in cash because no insurance claims will be filed and all results can be forwarded to the patient’s primary care physician.

Sandra Connor, Palmyra Director of Imaging Services says Palmyra is offering the discount so Southwest Georgians can check up on their health status.  “Palmyra wanted to give the public the opportunity to wake up and do something positive towards improving their health” says Connor.

Doctors say if something questionable is found in the exam the patient will be called to schedule a diagnostic follow up which will carry an associated fee.

The reduced cost screenings run the entire month of February and you can call 229-434-2060 to schedule your appointment.
