Road crews warn of black ice Friday night

Emergency Management Director and Fire Chief James Howell says there’s not much they can do about the weather other than wait.

Howell says public works crews are ready with sand and salt should the rain Friday turn to snow. Schools in Lee County were called off Thursday afternoon in anticipation for the bad weather.
