A grand jury indicts Dr. Kalpesh Patel on sexual assault charges

Police say an Albany doctor that was indicted by a grand jury for one count of sexual assault against a patient has turned himself in Friday.

The indictment reads that Dr. Kalpesh Patel allegedly touched a female patient's breasts and pulled her underwear down with an ink pen during an exam. The indictment states that the incident allegedly happened in March 2008 at Patel's 13th Avenue office in Albany.
