Warning signs of a heart disease in women are different than warning signs in men
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S. in men and women.
Cardiologist, Dr. Mark Cohen spoke to Phoebe Putney employees Wednesday about being heart healthy. A "Lunch-And-Learn" was held at the Phoebe Healthworks building at noon, stressing the importance of improving your diet, decreasing cholesterol levels, increasing exercising and avoid smoking. Signs of heart disease are different in women than men, so it’s important to know the signs. Cardiovascular disease accounts for 43% of all female deaths.
