Darton College students take a trip through African-American history.

The Sankofa African American Museum on Wheels was on display at Darton College Tuesday as part of Black History month.  The exhibit includes art, books, newspaper articles, and memorabilia from black history. It starts with the slave trade and goes through the election of President Barack Obama.

“My nephew was a straight "A" student and didn't know much about his history and culture so I wanted to start something to stimulate him into learning his history and culture,” said Museum on Wheels Curator and Owner Angela Jennings. “It grew from there.”

The exhibit started in 1995.
