Seven roads closed to public, Scott Road worst of the bunch
The Lee County Emergency Management office says they still have seven roads closed due to last week’s rain.
Road Closures are as follows:
New York Rd – From Middle Road to Philema Road
New York Rd - From Dan Green Road to Lee / Sumter Line
(Bridge at Chokee Creek is CLOSED to ALL TRAFFIC)
Larramore Rd. – From Airport to Batts Road
Mays Rd. – From Scott Road to Hwy. 195
Grey Moss Rd. – East of New York Rd.
Gator Pond Rd. – From Usry Road to Hwy. 377
Scott Rd. – From 500 Block to Mays Road
Authorities say Batts Road, Dan Green Road, Kaylor Road, and Cromer Highway are all marginally passable and there is water over Crotwell Road, so drive with extreme caution.
