Attendees received free lunch from Subway

The Dougherty County Health Department celebrated American Heart Month today with a luncheon.

Dr. Frances Ferguson served as the keynote speaker and talked about ways to stay healthy and prevent heart disease.  Cardiovascular disease is the number one killer of men and women in the United States and is a leading cause of disability.

The attendees received a free lunch from Subway.
