The Albany Dougherty Drug Unit made a large bust of drugs and money

The Albany Dougherty Drug Unit seized a little more than 10 pounds of marijuana, nearly four thousand dollars cash, and a stun gun from 29-year-old Curtis Bernard Donaldson and 24-year-old Patrick James Donaldson this weekend.

Major Bill Berry says because the marijuana is compressed and packaged differently, the drug unit doesn’t think it’s from Albany.  “This has come from out of state and possibly even further than that.  My guess is it’s from across the border – Mexico” says Berry.

The drug unit says the GBI unit will take over the case and investigate connections to other drug dealers.
