Exchange Club Fairgrounds will hold event Friday and Saturday

The United Kennel Club hosts their annual Winter Classic at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds this weekend. Admission is free, and you can watch over 1,000 of the country’s best coonhounds compete in this year’s event.

Winter Classic opens at 7:00 am each day. Over 10,000 spectators are expected attend. Nationally recognized vendors will be on hand offering dog and pet products. With thousands of exhibitors, spectators, and vendors attending the two-day event, the UKC Winter Classic is expected to bring an estimated $2 million dollars to Dougherty County.

The UKC also holds two night hunts, bench shows, and awards ceremonies.
