More than 75 quail hunters from all over the U.S. came to Albany for the Quail Unlimited Celebrity Quail Hunt
The event has scaled back from previous years due to the economy, however Quail Unlimited’s Tommy Dean says their presence will still boost Albany’s economy.
“We try to generate as much positive revenue for the community as we can with hotel rooms, eating at restaurants, and shopping” says Dean.
Many quail hunters told FOX 31 News that if they enjoy their trip they would consider returning to Albany for a future quail hunting trip.
