(AP) -- Speaker David Ralston is forming a new standing committee in the House on small business development and job creation. 

Ralston said he believes small business growth will lead the way back to a strong and vibrant economy in this state by creating jobs.

Georgia's unemployment rate is 10.2 percent.  State Rep. John Lunsford, a McDonough Republican, will serve as the committee's chairman
