The Dougherty County Board of Education honors different groups for their accomplishments and service to the schools system

Superintendent Dr. Sally Whatley says it’s important to take the time to recognize faculty, staff, and students who contribute to the success of the Dougherty County School System.

“They’ve gone above and beyond the call of duty and we want to take the opportunity to reward excellent service and work” says Whatley.

Groups honored include the Dougherty County High School Junior ROTC, students who won awards at the National Fair, teachers voted on by their peers, and teachers who completed a special development course.
