Dozens of frontier enthusiasts camped out all weekend for Chehaw’s Frontier Festival despite below freezing temperatures

The 17th annual Frontier Festival at Chehaw wraps up Sunday, and those who went had to brave cold temperatures.

Dozens of frontier enthusiasts camped out all weekend for Chehaw’s Frontier Festival. They told FOX 31 News how to stay warm when the cold drove so many away from the festival this year. Wool Spinner Helen Martin says wool will keep you the warmest. Purse Weaver Jackie Briggs says wool and layers are even better. All those on the frontier say when all else fails, go inside the teepee for extra warmth.
